Air Plan Approval and Attainment Date Extension; 1997 Annual Fine Particulate Matter Nonattainment Area; San Joaquin Valley, California

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is finalizing approval of a state implementation plan to meet Clean Air Act requirements for the San Joaquin Valley in California, which has a serious nonattainment area for fine particulate matter. The EPA is also extending the applicable attainment date for the area to December 31, 2024.
