NMFS Proposes Reclassification of Pillar Coral from Threatened to Endangered
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing to reclassify pillar coral (Dendrogyra cylindrus) from threatened to endangered due to population declines and susceptibility to a coral disease.
