Coast Guard Proposes Exemption for Active-Duty Uniformed Service Members From Merchant Mariner Credentialing Fees

The US Coast Guard is proposing to exempt active-duty uniformed service members from paying fees for Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) applications, examinations, and issuance, in response to Executive Order 13860 and the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020.
