FRA Issues Safety Advisory to Reduce Weather-Related Accidents on National Rail Network

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is urging railroads to review and implement new predictive weather modeling and proactive safety processes to prevent weather-related accidents and incidents on the national rail network, following a significant increase in such incidents since 2021.
