FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Bombardier, Inc.'s Model CL-600-2B16 (604 Variant) airplanes due to manufacturing issues with the bleed air leak detection system's sensing elements. The directive requires testing and replacement of affected elements and prohibits the installation of those parts.
