FAA adopts new airworthiness directive for Leonardo S.p.a. helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Leonardo S.p.a.'s Model A109E, A109S, AW109SP, A119, and AW119 MKII helicopters to address reports of excessive axial play on the ball bearing of the main rotor rotating scissor assembly.
