U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an exemption to South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company, allowing the company to relocate 12 model 37 multi-purpose canisters in a storage condition that does not meet the terms and conditions of Certificate of Compliance No. 1032, Amendment No. 2, at its South Texas Project Electric Generating Station, Units 1 and 2.
