FCC Proposes Rule to Prioritize Local Journalism on Broadcast Stations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing a rule to prioritize review of applications from commercial and noncommercial radio and television stations that provide local journalism or other locally originated programming, aiming to encourage more stations to serve their communities.
