FDA Clears DECADRON for Sale, Ends Withdrawal Proceedings

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that DECADRON (dexamethasone sodium phosphate) solution/drops, equivalent to 0.1 percent phosphate, was not withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety or effectiveness. This decision means the FDA will not initiate procedures to withdraw approval of abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for this product.
