FDA Amends Color Additive Regulations for Calcium Phosphate

The FDA is allowing the safe use of calcium phosphate as a color additive in certain food products, including ready-to-eat chicken, white candy melts, and sugar for coated candies, in response to a petition from Innophos, Inc.
