Extension and Redesignation of Syria for Temporary Protected Status

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is extending the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Syria for 18 months, from October 1, 2022, to March 31, 2024, and redesignating the country for TPS, allowing additional individuals to apply for the first time. Existing TPS beneficiaries must re-register during the 60-day period.
