SNAP Program Changes Under Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023

The US Department of Agriculture has implemented changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) as part of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023, aiming to assist low-income adults in obtaining employment and increasing their earnings, while also clarifying procedures for screening and verification of exceptions to the able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWD) time limit.
