U.S. Department of Energy Establishes Test Procedure for Cooking Products

The U.S. Department of Energy is introducing a new test procedure for conventional cooking tops, including electric and gas models, to better measure energy efficiency and usage, replacing an existing rule that only applied to microwave ovens.
