FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Bombardier airplanes, specifically the CL-600-1A11, CL-600-2A12, and CL-600-2B16 models, due to a safety concern with the flight guidance/autopilot system not accounting for engine failure during certain flight modes. The directive requires revising the airplane flight manual to provide new limitations and procedures for safe operation.
