FAA Adopts Airworthiness Directive for Piaggio Aviation S.p.A. Model P-180 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) for Piaggio Aviation S.p.A. Model P-180 airplanes to address an unsafe condition related to the pitot-tube, which can be caused by the accumulation of water and subsequent freezing, as identified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
