DoD Issues Final Rule on Tax Information Reporting for Foreign Procurements

The Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to improve the identification and reporting of contracts subject to excise tax withholding, and to prohibit the use of governmentwide commercial purchase cards for payment in cases where tax applies to foreign procurements.
