U.S. Department of Defense Completes Inventory of Human Remains under NAGPRA

Summary

The U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, and National Museum of Health and Medicine have completed an inventory of human remains from the vicinity of Waimea in Kauai County, HI, and determined a cultural affiliation with Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
