U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Seeks Public Comment on Marine Mammal Protection Act Permit Applications

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking public comment on foreign or native species under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), which prohibits activities with listed species unless authorized by the federal government. The public can provide input on permits for activities otherwise prohibited with respect to any species.
