Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone for Oil Spill Response in Lake Charles, LA

The US Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone along the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to prevent vessels from entering the area where a large oil spill has occurred, in order to protect people, ships, and the marine environment from potential hazards.
