Federal Records Management: Managing Electronic Records, Including Electronic Messages

The US government is updating its regulations to explicitly require record-keeping for electronic records, including emails, following the 2021 amendment to the Federal Records Act, which mandates the preservation of electronic messages by federal agencies.
