Pipeline Safety: Random Drug Testing Rate; Management Information System Reporting; and Obtaining Drug and Alcohol Management Information System Sign-In Information

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has announced a reduction in the minimum random drug testing rate for covered employees to 25 percent starting in 2023. The agency also reminds operators to submit drug and alcohol testing information for contractors performing or ready to perform covered functions.
