U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues New Regulatory Guide for Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is releasing a new Regulatory Guide (RG 4.27) that offers guidance on using the plant parameter envelope concept in early site permit applications for nuclear power plants. This new guide helps applicants who have not yet selected a specific reactor technology for their proposed site.
