FCC Proposes Rule Change to Allow Greater Flexibility in Amateur Radio Data Communications

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM) that seeks to remove baud rate limitations in certain amateur radio bands, including the 2200 meter and 630 meter bands, and the VHF and UHF bands, in order to allow for greater flexibility in data communications.
