FDA Clears Glucotrol Tablets for Continued Approval

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ruled that the 5mg and 10mg versions of the diabetes medication Glucotrol (Glipizide) tablets were not withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness concerns. This decision allows the FDA to continue approving new drug applications (ANDAs) for these products as long as they meet regulatory requirements.
