NIST Establishes Consortium to Explore Robot Workcell Degradation Technology

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is launching a new consortium, the Robot Workcell Degradation Technology Exploration with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership National Network Consortium, to verify and validate robot workcell health monitoring methods for the manufacturing industry and potentially transfer technology to U.S. manufacturers through the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) National Network.
