University of Michigan Completes Inventory of Human Remains and Associated Funerary Objects

The University of Michigan has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, determining a cultural affiliation with present-day Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. Lineal descendants or representatives of unlisted tribes can submit a written request to transfer control of the remains.
