U.S. Department of Energy Proposes Changes to Clothes Washer Test Procedures

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing changes to the test procedures for residential and commercial clothes washers, including new test conditions, instrument specifications, and test settings, as well as the creation of a new test procedure for certain loads and usage factors. The DOE is seeking public comment on the proposal through a webinar.
