FRA Issues Safety Advisory on Positive Train Control Interface Design Issue

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has issued a Safety Advisory to alert the rail industry, including railroads and railroad employees, about a recently discovered interface design issue with Positive Train Control (PTC) systems that can be circumvented by train crewmembers, posing a significant safety risk.
