EPA Grants Temporary Exemption for Spinach Defensin Proteins in Citrus Plants

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted a temporary exemption to Southern Gardens Citrus Nursery, LLC. from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of spinach defensin proteins in citrus plants, allowing for their use as a plant- incorporated protectant. The exemption expires on May 31, 2025.
