Asylum Interview Interpreter Requirement Modification Due to COVID-19

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended the effective date of its temporary final rule modifying certain regulatory requirements for USCIS asylum adjudications during the COVID-19 pandemic for 180 days. The rule also addresses interpreter availability during interviews.
