Interior Department Proposes Reduction of Bears Ears National Monument

The U.S. Department of the Interior has announced a new proposal to reduce the size of the Bears Ears National Monument in Utah, which was established in 2016 by President Barack Obama. The proposal, which is currently under review, aims to return approximately 300,000 acres of land to the state of Utah.
