FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Certain Bell 429 Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Bell Textron Canada Limited Model 429 helicopters to address reports of incorrectly staked spherical bearings in the directional control bellcrank assembly, which can pose an unsafe condition.
