FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Leonardo S.p.a. Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AW119 MKII helicopters due to improperly installed passenger cabin windows, requiring removal and reinstalling of the windows to address the unsafe condition.
