FMCSA Grants Exemptions to Eight Individuals for Vision Requirement in Commercial Motor Vehicle Operations

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced that it has received applications from eight individuals seeking exemptions from the vision requirement in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in interstate commerce, allowing them to drive without meeting the vision requirement in one eye.
