EPA Proposes Approval of Missouri's Air Plan for Jackson County SO2 Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Missouri's plan to maintain sulfur dioxide (SO2) levels within the Jackson County, Missouri, area, which would also redesignate the area from nonattainment to attainment status, meeting the 2010 1-hour SO2 National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
