SEC Grants Conditional Exemptions for Cleared Swaps and Security-Based Swaps

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has granted conditional exemptions to certain firms from complying with specific provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, allowing them to portfolio margin cleared swaps and security-based swaps in a segregated account, subject to certain conditions.
