NHTSA Finalizes Rule for Hybrid III Child Test Dummies

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has updated its specifications for the Hybrid III six-year-old child dummy and the Hybrid III six-year-old weighted child test dummy to improve durability and accuracy, in response to a petition from companies Denton ATD and First Technology Safety Systems.
