FCC Accelerates Implementation of STIR/SHAKEN Caller ID Framework to Combat Robocalls

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has taken action to speed up the rollout of the STIR/SHAKEN caller ID authentication framework, which is designed to prevent illegally spoofed robocalls, by setting a new deadline for small voice service providers to implement the technology.
