FDA Announces Final Guidance on Cybersecurity in Medical Devices

The FDA is releasing a final guidance on cybersecurity for medical devices, stating it will not issue 'refuse to accept' decisions for premarket submissions unless there is a clear deficiency in meeting the new cybersecurity requirements, which took effect October 1, 2023.
