Air Plan Approval; NC; Blue Ridge Paper SO2 Emission Limits
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revised sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission limit for the Blue Ridge Paper Products, LLC facility in North Carolina, in an effort to meet the state's goal of achieving 'attainment/unclassifiable' status under the 2010 primary SO2 national ambient air quality standard. The proposal, submitted by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality, aims to incorporate more stringent SO2 permit limits into the state's State Implementation Plan (SIP).
