Coast Guard Adjusts Bridge Operating Schedule to Combat Summer Congestion

The US Coast Guard is altering the operating schedule of the State Route 70 pontoon bridge across Belle River in Louisiana to reduce congestion during the summer months. The bridge will now open on signal every hour from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. during June, July, and August.
