NMFS Prohibits Retention of Atlantic Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and Roundscale Spearfish in Atlantic HMS Recreational Fisheries

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has set a catch limit for Atlantic blue marlin, white marlin, and roundscale spearfish in the Atlantic Highly Migratory Species (HMS) recreational fisheries, and has determined that this limit has been exceeded for 2020, prompting a prohibition on the retention of these species until the end of the year.
