FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A350 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus A350-941 and -1041 airplanes to address a safety concern related to the engine thrust reverser hinge nuts. The directive requires replacing or installing new nuts and applying torque stripes to prevent detachment of the hinge nuts.
