FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Leonardo S.p.a. AW169 Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring modifications to the weight on wheels support installation on Leonardo S.p.a. Model AW169 helicopters to address an unsafe condition caused by improperly tightened support, which could lead to a rotation of the support and improper wheel switch performance.
