FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Leonardo S.p.a. Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) requiring Leonardo S.p.a. Model A119 and AW119 MKII helicopters to undergo repetitive borescope inspections of the tail rotor gearbox (TGB) and potentially remove it from service due to corrosion concerns.
