Asylum Interview Interpreter Requirement Modification Due to COVID-19

The Department of Homeland Security temporarily relaxes its regulations for 180 days, allowing asylum applicants who cannot speak English to skip providing interpreters and instead use DHS-provided telephonic interpreters during their interviews.
