HUD to Set Benchmarks for Economic Opportunities under Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is required to set benchmarks for economic opportunities for low- and very low-income persons and eligible businesses under Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992. HUD published a final rule to increase Section 3's impact and streamline reporting requirements.
