FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A330 and A340 Aircraft

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address a safety concern related to non-rechargeable lithium batteries installed in emergency locator transmitters (ELTs) on certain Airbus aircraft models, including the A330 and A340.
