SEC Adopts Amendments to Rule 15c2-11 to Modernize Quotations for OTC Securities

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is adopting amendments to Rule 15c2-11 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to modernize the rule, promote investor protection, and curb fraud and manipulation in the over-the-counter (OTC) securities market. The changes require current and publicly available information about issuers for broker-dealers to quote securities in the OTC market.
