FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Rockwell Collins GPS Systems

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed an airworthiness directive to upgrade Rockwell Collins' GPS-4000S Global Positioning Systems on certain airplanes due to a potential error that could lead to controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) incidents.
